Consumer Health Data Notice

What health information the app collects, why, who it goes to, and how to take it back.

Last updated 20 August 2026

What this is

Some US state laws protect consumer health information specifically, even for companies that HIPAA does not cover. This is our notice for those laws. It says the same things as our Privacy Policy, gathered in one place so it is easy to find and easy to read.

It is offered by Vero Dawn Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. You can reach a person at hello@verodawn.co.

What health information we collect

Only what you type or photograph. We receive nothing from a hospital, a doctor's office, an insurer, or any health plan.

  • •Conditions, medications and doses, allergies, test results, and the plain-words notes kept with them.
  • •Appointments, who they are with, what was said, and the questions you want to raise.
  • •The care team you record: names, specialties, and what each one treats.
  • •Your questions to the assistant and the answers it gives, which sit in the record as a conversation.
  • •Who the person is to you, such as a parent, a partner, a child, or yourself.

Where it comes from

From you, and only from you. You type it, you photograph a bottle or a document and confirm what was read, or you tell the assistant and approve what it offers to save. Nothing is added to a record without you approving it.

Why we collect it

To provide the app and nothing else: to hold the record you build, to answer your questions about it, to help you prepare for an appointment, and to review the safety of the answers before you see them.

We do not use it for advertising, we do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not use it to train artificial-intelligence models.

Who it is shared with

We do not sell health information, and we do not share it for advertising of any kind. It goes only to these:

  • •Service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, so the app can work: an artificial-intelligence provider to generate answers, and cloud hosting and database services to store your record and sign you in. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
  • •The small team operating the app, who can access the database to fix problems and to review the safety of answers, limited to what that work requires.
  • •A legal request we are required to answer, or where it is needed to protect somebody's safety.
  • •A buyer, if the app is ever sold or merged, and only under this same notice.

Your consent, and taking it back

We collect and use health information only with your consent, which you give deliberately when you create your account by ticking a box that says so. We do not rely on it being implied.

You can withdraw consent at any time by closing your account from the account screen. That erases your account and everything in it immediately, and there is no separate copy to recover it from.

Your rights over it

You can see everything we hold, correct it, download a copy, and delete any of it or all of it, yourself, from the account screen at any time.

You may also write to hello@verodawn.co to ask us to confirm what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to give you a copy, and we will verify the request and answer within the time your state's law requires. If we decline, you may appeal by replying, and we will answer the appeal.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. When you delete an item, or close your account, it is removed immediately and is not kept anywhere else. We may keep limited records for longer only where the law requires it.

Questions about any of this? hello@verodawn.co reaches a person.
